Selected Past Projects
Alongside our current programme of festivals and markets, Scene Scotland has a long history of producing curated cultural and social events across Scotland.
Over the years this has included fashion-led events, film screenings, wine tastings, large-scale dinners and themed social gatherings — experiences rooted in strong curation, atmosphere and audience connection.
VEIL – Bridal Events
(past project)
VEIL was a series of contemporary bridal events developed as a follow-on from the successful Vintage Wedding Show.
Held twice yearly in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, VEIL focused on fashion, design and independent wedding suppliers, offering an alternative to traditional wedding fairs. Events were hosted in distinctive venues and combined carefully curated exhibitors, live music and relaxed styling experiences, creating a format that felt informal, modern and design-led.
VEIL remains an important part of Scene Scotland’s history, shaping our approach to curation, audience experience and working with independent creative businesses.

In addition to producing our own events, Scene Scotland has worked with a wide range of organisations, venues and partners across business development, marketing and collaborative projects.
